Housekeeping Task

The housekeeper can have a complete housekeeping task list for each room, depending on their status. In order to be applied to the rooms through the housekeeping job, these tasks must belong to a housekeeping rule. Alternatively, you can add them manually to the room's task list.

All tasks must be set up through this page, the Housekeeping Task page.

To create a new Housekeeping Task

  1. In the Hotel Back Office role center's top navigation menu, click Housekeeping Setup, and select Housekeeping Tasks.
  2. Click the New action, and fill in the fields.

The fields in the Housekeeping Tasks FastTab are:

Field Description
Task Code Unique ID reference for the housekeeping task.
Description Description of the housekeeping task.
Day Interval The day interval of which the task is issued. For example, if you set this field 1, the task will be assigned every day. If you set the field to 2 , the task is assigned every other day, and so on.
Estimated Time (minutes) The estimated time in minutes it takes the housekeeper to complete this task.
