Hotels supports standard Customer Discounts in Business Central as set on items and item discount groups.
Customer discounts on reservations
You apply a customer discount to the hotel reservation price by checking the Rate Attributes for the rate code and using these rules:
| Rule | Description |
|---|---|
| Rate Attribute Included in Rate | The rate attribute item (can be an item or activity product) gets the customer discount set for the HotelSetup.Accommodation Item. |
| Rate Attribute not Included in Rate | If Rate Attribute has a discount, the customer is applied to that rate attribute. |
Note:
- Discounts are only given on the dates specified by the Posting Patterns (daily, arrival, or departure).
- Extra guest or child do not get discounts, that is extra charges do not get customer discounts.
- Activity Product Posting Item is used for the customer line discount.
