Updating the BEC Windows Service

To update the Windows Service

1. Stop the Booking Engine Connector Service (LSBECWinService) Windows Service.
2. Copy the latest LSBEC.WinService.Setup.xx.x.x.exe file from the LS Retail Portal (login required).
3. Extract the new files from the setup by running the LSBEC.WinService.Setup.xx.x.x.exe. Use xyz in all input fields, and specify a new folder, for example C:\TempBEC.
   
4. Copy all files except the config files from C:\TempBEC to the existing C:\LS Retail\LSBEC\LSBECWinService folder.
5. Start the Booking Engine Connector Service (LSBECWinService) Windows Service.
6. Check the \logs\logfile.txt to check for errors, and to see if the service started correctly.
