Preparation Display Station - Example

A Preparation Station lists its item lines as lines, that is, one item is one line.

Note: If an expeditor is not in use, KOTs are manually served when finished in the kitchen.

The following image is an example of a preparation station:

  • The first item for the display is at the top.
  • Lines are displayed in the same order as they are sent to the preparation station.
  • The active item has a blue box around it.

Each line has:

  • Table, the table number the item belongs to.
  • KOT #.
  • Display time, the time since the line was sent to the display.
  • Time left, displays how much time is left of the production time.
When production time reaches zero, it switches to negative time.
    - (minus) is displayed for items which are waiting to be started.
  • Status, shows the preparation stations where the item is.
  • Quantity.
  • Item, description.
  • Modifiers, when modifiers are set for the item they are displayed here, one line per modifier.
