You can choose a POS command to run when a free dining table is pressed, instead of showing the Free pop-up menu. This streamlines the process by saving the waiter a step when opening the POS to take orders or seating a dining table.
The command to run is typically:
- HOSP-OPEN-POScommand (seating not used)
- SEAT_GUESTS (seating is used)
You can select another command in the field, but you must make sure that this command is relevant to pressing a dining table.
To set simple casual dining table opening
- Click the
icon, enter Hospitality Service Flows, and select the relevant link. - In the Free Table Pressed-Command field, select HOSP-OPEN-POS or the SEAT_GUESTS command, depending on the Table Becomes Occupied field.
The program automatically shows the command that is the most relevant in the top of the lookup page if you click the assist button in the field.
