To disjoin a master dining table
Command Setup for joining tables by selecting
In both the Graphical and Button Grid dining table layouts, you can create a dining table group by selecting a master table, choosing Join, and then selecting another table to join to the master. The table you join must be either free or marked as to be cleaned. You can also separate (dis-join) tables in these layouts.
Note: Joining dining tables is not possible yet, in the dining table list overview.
To join dining tables by selecting
In the graphical or button grid dining table layout panel:
- Select the dining table you want to join another table to. This is the master table.
- Select Join, in the pop-up menu. The POS is now in Joining by Selecting mode.
- Select a free (or to be cleaned) dining table you want to join to the master table.
The dining tables are now joined together.
Note: To join more dining tables to the master table, you need to repeat the process.
To disjoin a master dining table
- Select the dining table you want to join another table to.
- Select Disjoin in the pop-up menu. The POS is now in Dis-joining by Selecting mode.
- Confirm the question.
The dining table is now stand-alone, not joined to any other dining table.
Command Setup for joining tables by selecting
To make joining by selecting available, you add the following POS command to the appropriate dining table pop-up menus:
- Click the
icon, enter Hospitality Service Flow, and select the relevant link. - Open the Pop-up Menus for Dining Tables section.
- Add the TBL_JOINING command to menus that you want to add joining to, such as the Free Pop-up Menu, the Seated Pop-up Menu, the Occupied Pop-up Menu and To Be Cleaned Menu.
- One button needs to have SELECTJOIN as parameter.
- One button needs to have the SELECTDISJOIN as parameter.
