How to: Reset Dining Tables

When you cannot complete the process of the order in the KDS, you can reset the dining table to make it Free or To be cleaned (service flow dependent). You must finalize the order on the dining table before resetting the table.

To do	What happens on POS
In Restaurants POS: Press Reset Table on the Layout Function menu (you may need to select Manager Menu first, depending on how the layout function menu is structured).	The button you pressed is now called Cancel Reset Table. In the status bar message box, a message appears asking you to select the table you want to reset. You can press the Cancel Reset Table button to exit the Reset mode.
In Restaurants POS: Select the dining table you want to reset.	In the pop-up menu, the RESET TABLE command appears.
In Restaurants POS: Select RESET TABLE.	A confirmation window appears.
In Restaurants POS: Press Yes.	If the program managed to reset the table, the status bar displays a message saying that the dining table has been reset. The table is now free or it may have another order as active order. The Cancel Reset Table button now says Reset Table.
