You generate QR codes for dining tables in the eat-in dining area, print them and then place the images on the dining tables.

The ordering flow

  1. The customer that is seated at a dining table with QR code, scans the code with their phone.
  2. The customer is directed to the eCommerce menu and places their order.
  3. When the customer pays for the order, the order is sent to the kitchen.

The QR codes consist of the restaurant's URI, the restaurant number, dining table number, and sales type.

To create the QR codes for the dining area

  1. In the Dining Area Card, click the Dining Area action.
  2. Select Dining Tables.
  3. Click Process - Create QR Codes.

When you run this process, the program starts by deleting any existing QR codes for the dining area. If you create QR codes and then change the landing page, for example, you need to generate the QR codes again. The program deletes the existing ones and generates them again now with the changed landing page.

To export the dining table QR codes to a file location

  1. Click the Process action.
  2. Select Export QR Codes.
  3. Enter a valid folder location in the window that appears.
  4. Click Close. The codes have now been exported as .png files to the selected location.

You can now print the QR code image files and place the images on the dining tables.
