In an Offline POS setup, the POS performance can be affected when the offline POS is using the SendTransaction web service and the remote connection to HO is not available in SaaS.
When you are sending transaction data at the end of a transaction, sending unsent data is supported as a background process. This process is serviced by a background session which then frees up time for the client session running the POS.
- In the POS Functionality Profile Card, the Web Services Settings FastTab, enable the Use Background Session option.
