For LS Central new events are released on a weekly basis and cumulative updates at least once between major versions. New features are focused on in the annual April and October updates coinciding with Microsoft's release of Business Central.

An LS Central release candidate is available five to six weeks before the major Business Central release from Microsoft. This means that the release candidate for the wave 1 version is available by the end of February, while the wave 2 version is available by the end of August.

LS Central update availability

AppSource apps are automatically updated to the latest version during an environment's major update. For more information refer to The lifecycle of apps and extensions for Business Central.

We recommend that you always update LS Central to the latest version when you update with Business Central minor updates. Therefore, we recommend that you set the App update cadence to With major and minor updates in the Admin Center.
