Data Director Job Monitor – password issue

If the Job Monitor reports this error:

Cannot Connect to Initial Catalog=POSMasterProduction-1;Data Source=localhost;Password=456456;Connect Timeout=180; >> Login failed for user

Check if there is an entry for user localhost:8080 with no name. This entry might be inserting its password automatically. Delete it.

Version mismatch

The Cloud Master has its own version and it may not be the same as the POS Master version. Thi may cause the replication of tables to have different fields in the source and the target.

From version 16.0 this should not be an issue since 16.0 has a built-in fix to avoid this scenario.

But up to version 16.0 the Job Monitor might report problems similar to this one:

  • Selecting data from Table: Attribute >> Response Code:0099 - 01900;Field Name Attribute Type ID cannot be converted to Field No. [Id:GET_TABLE_DATA]
  • Selecting data from Table: Attribute >> Response Code:0099 - 01900;Field Name Option Value Filter cannot be converted to Field No. [Id:GET_TABLE_DATA]

A temporary solution is to open the Scheduler Subjob card for the reported table and exclude the reported fields.

Job Monitor error: Operation has timed out

When Job Monitor reports a time out issue the first guideline is to run the job again. This usually resolves the issue.

  • If the error reoccurs, change in the POSMaster distribution location HEADOFFICE in the POSMaster as shown here:

If this solves the problem, make this as a permanent fix in the Cloud Master.

Receiver missing for jobs

The following error for jobs: no receivers defined.

  • To fix this, add the Receiver Groups:

Job HCC_UPDATE_TO_POS missing Groups information

Check if this data exists:

  1. For the HCC_UPDATE_POS job, open:
    • Distribution Groups
    • Distribution SubGroups
    • Distribution Subgroup Member
  2. Add the distribution location for the POS Device.
