Comparison Unit of Measure
You set up comparison units of measure in the Comparison Unit of Measure table.
To be able to calculate Comp. Price Incl. VAT you need to set up the comparison units of measure and calculate the
Conversion Factor between the units.
In order to calculate for example the kilogram price for an item that is sold in a 100g package,
you need to set up the conversion factor between the unit of measure of the item and the comparison
unit. You set up the two units, representing kilograms and grams, in the Comparison Unit Of Measure table and the conversion factor between them in the Conversion Value table.
Once you have defined the conversion factor between one unit and other two units,
for example between A and B, and A and C, the program automatically calculates the conversion factor
between B and C and inserts it in the Conversion Value table for B and C. This saves you a considerable amount of work when setting up comparison units of measure.
