This field specifies the type of the character in the barcode mask segment.
The options are:
Item No. - Stands for a mask digit that represents a number identifying an item.
The input in the Barcode No. field for the Item No. characters in the mask can have the same or smaller number
of characters than the number of Item No. characters in the mask. The program adds zeros in front of the item number input to make it the correct length according to
the barcode mask. The item number does not have to be the same as the number of the item.
Any No. - Stands for a mask digit that represents any variable number, 0..9. You use an Any No. mask digit to denote a number that can vary with each barcode.
Not to be confused with the mask including an actual constant number digit, 0..9, then each barcode has that exact number at the exact place.
If the mask includes an Any No. digit, then the barcode typed in must include the same number of digits
as the mask. In an Use EAN Standard Barc., you can still skip the check digit and have the program
add it to the barcode typed in.
Check Digit - Stands for a mask digit representing a modulus check digit,
the last digit in an EAN standard barcode.
Coupon Reference - Stands for a mask digit representing a Coupon Reference.
EAN License No. - Stands for a mask digit representing the EAN License No.
registered in the Back Office Setup table.
Price - Stands for a mask representing the price of an item, registered at run time at the POS terminal.
Quantity - Stands for a mask representing the quantity of an item, registered at run time at the POS terminal.
Employee - Stands for a mask digit representing Staff.
Customer - Stands for a mask digit representing Customer.
Data Entry - Stands for a mask digit representing automatic creation of entry numbers,
for example when creating gift card or voucher numbers.
Number Series - Stands for a mask digit representing Number Series.
Lot No. - Stands for a mask digit representing Lot No.
Serial No. - Stands for a mask digit representing Serial No.
