LS Retail supports barcodes for several features. You can use barcodes for identification of items such as: items,
item variants, coupons, gift cards and vouchers.
In your business, you might need to register retail items, either by using standard barcodes or by using inhouse barcodes.
The LS Retail system supports both. It also provides support for:
Barcode creation
Barcode checking
For items, barcodes make it possible to have multiple numbers, that is, if the same product comes from different vendors,
or if the item has Item Variants (size, style, color).
You can have the program construct and check barcodes for an item by using control features either
for the Product Group to which the item belongs, or for the item itself. These include the Barcode Mask,
and Use EAN Standard Barc..
You can assign Size Code, Color Code and Style Code to barcodes.
