Items and locations need to be set up to be used by Retail Forecast. The Retail Item Card and the Location Card hold specific fields to activate the usage.

To set up a location for Retail Forecast

A few parameters in Location must be configured with the appropriate value or option before you can enable the location as a valid Retail Forecast Location.

1. Click the icon, enter Locations, and select the relevant link.
2. Click New to create a new location, or click Manage - Edit to edit an existing location.
3. In the Replenishment FastTab, ensure that the Active for Autom. Replenishm. check box is selected, if the selected location is a store.
4. In the Retail Forecast FastTab, ensure that the Active for Retail Forecast check box is selected.
5. Assign Additional Dimensions if you want to provide the Retail Forecast calculation with more supplemental data.

To maintain additional dimensions for all Retail Forecast locations

You can view and configure the additional dimensions of all locations on one single overview page.

1. Click the icon, enter Retail Forecast Location Dimensions, and select the relevant link.
2. Click the Edit List action to edit the additional dimensions assignment.
