To create Item Store Records for multiple items
In the Replen. Control Data List, you can use the Create Item Store Record action to create the Item Store Records for multiple items at once.
To create Item Store Records for multiple items
- Click the icon, enter Replen. Control Data List, and select the relevant link.
- In the Replen. Control Data List, you have the option to mark or filter on specific items, or to select an item from the Items FastTab.
- Click Process - Create Item Store Record.
If there are marked items in the Replen. Control Data List, they will be selected for Item Store Records creation. If there are no marked items but filters are applied in the list, the filtered items will be selected. If there are no marked items nor filtered items, the Item Store Records will be created for the currently selected item.
Which locations are considered for Item Store Records creation depends on the Store Items Ranged By setting in the Replen. Setup.
If Item Category/Grade is selected, locations where their Location Replenishment Grade Code is larger than or equal to the Item Replenishment Grade Code, will be considered for Item Store Records creation. For example, an item with the Replenishment Grade Code D will have Item Store Records created for all stores with the Replenishment Grade Codes A, B, C, and D.
For more information, see Assigning Items to Stores Using Grades.
If Store Groups is selected, the system will consider locations with a valid Item Distribution setup for Item Store Records creation. The Item Distribution should have the following setup:
- Status = Active
- Ordered by = Central
- Ordering Method = Calculate
For more information, see Assigning Items to Stores Using Store Groups.
For items with variants, the Item Store Records will be created for each combination of item, variant, and location.
Note: If there are existing Item Store Records for the item, they will first be deleted before the new Item Store Records are created.
