How to: Work With the Transfer Value Factor

The Transfer Value Factor, which is specified for each member club in the system, lets you decide how member points are treated during transfer between member accounts.

The Transfer Value Factor is a field on the Member Club card, the Point Calculation FastTab. The field contains the multiplication factor by which the transfer points are multiplied. The outcome is the points’ value when they arrive at the destination account. If the field value is 1 or 0, the system will transfer all points without a loss.

Example:

100 points are to be transferred from account A to account B with a Transfer Value Factor of 0.90.
This will remove 100 points from A and add 90 points to B.
