This version was released in September 2022 and includes the following improvements and bug fixes.
LSC-19633: Support oAuth Connection to LS Central in SaaS
Support oAuth (S2S) authentication when connecting to LS Central in SaaS enviroment.
Set Distribution Location Version with Plugin ID lsws and Plugin String s2s.
In Replication section set values in these fields:
- Client Id as User ID
- Client Secret as Password
- SaaS Web service URL as Db Server Name
- Tenant Id as Db. Path & Name.
LSC-23886: Action job handling in SaaS
Change the way Data Director pulls Action data from SaaS. This requires LS Central 20.3.
LSC-24433: Read Table design from SaaS
Reading table and field design from SaaS Location added. If a job is sent in without any field list, Data Director will be able to load the field list from SaaS source location.
LSC-22657: Duration time in log
Debug log will include duration time for every database action and the time it takes to process tables and jobs. Job Monitor will also include duration time in the server message.
DEV-25224: DDDatabaseExt Process
New database process that can be developed externally for special database processes or data handling. This will be open source code that partners can use to write special processing code for Data Director.
Set Distribution Location Version with Plugin ID ext and Plugin String can have any extra configure values needed for the process.
The values in Replication sections can also be used to configure the process in any way needed.
Handle empty primary key data
Handle primary key data with empty value or, if primary key field was missing, in the query selection data.
Remove CFront Support
Data Director runs now as an x64 application and installation will install the files into Program Files instead of the Program Files x86 folder.
This means there is no DDDatabase86 and no support for CFront data access. Also, old DD2 Client files have been removed.
Note:
When you are upgrading from an older DD version, you must remove the older version to clear it from the x86 folder before you install this version.
