Setup Options for Cross-selling

The following is a list of fields that are relevant for setting up cross-selling infocodes:

Pop-up Type ID

Specifies the ID of the pop-up type that is used for this cross-selling infocode.

If not set, the system uses:

  1. The first pop-up type that is specific for cross-selling infocodes.

  2. The first pop-up type it finds with pop-up main handler Infocode and selection type Select Options.

Prompt Specifies the prompt text shown as the header of the pop-up when the cross-selling infocode is triggered.
Explanatory Header Text

Specifies optional header text shown as header for the options (the default is the first 30 characters of the Description).

If you include %1 in the text, the program will replace it with the description of the triggering item.

Triggering Specifies whether the cross-selling infocode is shown automatically or only on request.
Min. Selection Specifies the minimum number of options the user must select (0 = optional).
Max. Selection Specifies the maximum number of options the user can select (0 = unlimited).
On Max. Selection Signal OK Pressed

Specifies whether reaching the maximum selection will automatically signal OK, as if OK was pressed in the pop-up.

This only applies if the maximum selection for the cross-selling infocode is greater than zero. If part of a group, the OK Pressed Action field on the group determines the behavior when maximum selection is reached.

Link Item Lines to Trigg. Line Specifies that sales lines created by the cross-selling infocode are linked to the triggering item line.
Linked Infocode Specifies another infocode that is automatically triggered after this one.
Parent Qty. Handling

Specifies how the quantity of the parent item is handled. For Pop-up Handling Enhanced Version only.

The options are:

  • None: The parent quantity has no affects.

  • Multiply Options w/Parent Qty - Options are selected for quantity 1. When the option lines are inserted, the quantity of the lines is multiplied with the parent quantity.

  • Select Options for Parent Qty - Options are selected for (and up to) the parent quantity. Max. and Min. selection is multiplied with parent quantity.

Infocode Validation Period ID Specifies a validation period restricting when the modifier is valid.
Print Prompt on Receipt Specifies whether the prompt text is printed on the receipt.
Print Input on Receipt Specifies whether the entered input/value is printed on the receipt.
Print Inp. Name on Rcpt. Specifies whether the selection (subcode) description is printed on the receipt.
