How to: Receive a Transfer In
- Click the
icon, enter Retail Receiving List, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action to create a new Receiving document, or open an existing one. The Retail Receiving page opens.
- In the Receiving field, select the Transfer In document type.
- In the Reference No. field, enter the Transfer Order number or use the Look up. The Look up lists all Transfer Orders that are Released and where Store-to equals the user's Store.
- Enter the Counted Date.
- You can enter items in three different ways:
- Click the Confirm action, and then enter Quantity received for each line.
- Scan item barcodes, or enter Item numbers and Quantity received.
- Send receiving information from a Mobile Inventory app.
- When you have entered all items and quantities, click the Confirm action. If Quantities are equal to the Transfer Order Line Quantities, the Status field is updated to OK. If not, Status is set to Error. You can then verify the lines manually before posting.
When Quantity of an Item is less than Transfer Order Line Shipped Quantity, the line gets Status Not Enough. In that case you are partly receiving the order. When the line is posted, the receiving Quantity is entered but the Transfer Order Quantity is not be changed.
If more Quantity of an Item is entered than is shipped from the shipping location, an error is raised when posting.

Click the Post action to post the Receipt of the Transfer Order. When the Transfer Order is fully received, the order is posted and deleted.
