How to: Set Relation and Lead Time between Stores and Vendors

Note: Before you can set up a Store and Vendor hierarchy and a hierarchy relation between them, you must complete Step 1 and Step 2 in How to: Set Up Vendor Sourcing for Customer Order.

Lead Time represents the estimated time it takes to ship an item from Vendor to Store.

To set the relation and lead time

1. On the Hierarchy Relation page, click the Edit Hierarchy Relation action.
2. Select a Store Group in the left Hierarchy Viewer, and then select the Vendor/Vendor Group in the right Hierarchy Viewer.
3. Click the the Maintenance action, then click Add Relation (Active).
4. Now the relation is active and the Lead Time in the Vendor Hierarchy is set to 0D by default.
