In-Transit Code is the transfer route between warehouses and stores. The transfer route is needed so a store can transfer orders to other stores. When a customer is returning to your store to pick up some items that you need to have delivered from a different store or warehouse, a transfer order is used behind the scenes to track the inventory movement.
To select a transfer route for a store
- Click the
icon, enter Store List, and select the relevant link. - Select the store for which you want to select an In-Transit Code, and double-click to open the Store Card.
- On the Customer Order FastTab, locate the In-Transit Code field.
- Select a code from the drop-down list.
