How to: Collect a Customer Order

This is the process when the customer comes to the collection store and collects items from an order.

To collect items from an order

Note: To be able to collect items, the items must have been picked first.

  1. On the POS, press the Customer Orders button to display the order list.
  2. Press the To Collect button to only display orders with items in a To collect state.
  3. Select the order to be collected, and then press the Collect button.
  4. a) Mark the items that are being collected using Collect or Collect all, or scan the items using a barcode scanner.
    b) CCO: Collect one quantity at a time using the Collect button or the whole quantity by using the Collect all button, or scan the items using a barcode scanner. By pressing the Collected column, you can enter the Quantity directly for the respective item. The same applies for the number of Canceled Quantity.
  5. Press Confirm to complete the collection.
  6. At this point the POS will return to the Transaction screen to complete the order transaction.
  7. If you are collecting the last remaining items from an order, a calculation will be made to find out if the customer has made payments exceeding the item value, or if you were not able to deliver all the items from the order. In that case a refund amount will be calculated.

Note: It is also possible to find an order relating to a member contact. The Customer Order functionality uses the same functionality as The Click and Collect Process.
