How to: Create Pharmacy Roles
Pharmacy Roles are used to define what kind of role the pharmacy user should have.
The role should have Pharmacy Role Permissions. The role can have more than one permission, and the permissions are down to command level. See also How to: Create Pharmacy Permissions.
To create Pharmacy Roles
- Click the icon, enter Pharmacy Roles, and select the relevant link.
- Click the New action.
- Fill in the fields in the Pharmacy Role page.
In the General FastTab:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Role | Here you give the role a name, for example JNR. |
Description | Here you write a description of the role. |
No. of Member | This is the number of members that are currently using this pharmacy role. |
Role has All Permission | Select this check box, if the role should have all available permissions. |
Can Edit Location Setup | Select this check box, if this role should be allowed to edit the pharmacy location setup. |
In the Pharmacy Role Permissions FastTab:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Permission Code | Here you select the commands that this role will have access to. |
Description | The description of the permission codes appears here automatically. |
Allowed Item Types | Here you select if the permission code should be restricted to an item type, for example to drugs that require prescription and to drugs that do not. |
In the Pharmacy Role Ctrl Gr. Perm. FastTab:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Control Group Code | Here you select if you want the role restricted to a control group, for example hospitals or a dentist. |
Control Group Description | The description of the control group appears here automatically. |
