How to: Transfer an Order from One Table to Another
To try this you can use POS terminal P0011 and the restaurant in S0005.
Transferring an order to a Free dining table
- Press a dining table that already has an order (bill not printed and not paid).
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- Press a free dining table to transfer to.
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- On the Transfer panel, press Transfer All.
The order has been transferred to the free table.
Transferring an order to an Occupied dining table
- Press a dining table that already has an order (bill not printed and not paid).
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- Press a dining table to transfer to that has an order (bill not printed and not paid).
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- On the Transfer panel, press Transfer All.
The order has been combined with the order on the selected table with an automatic cover update.
Transferring an order to a Seated dining table
- Press a dining table A, that already has an order (bill not printed and not paid).
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- Press a seated dining table B to transfer to.
- Press Transfer on the pop-up menu.
- On the Transfer panel, press Transfer All. A confirmation dialog appears, prompting whether the guests are moving to the table along with the order.
- If you answer Yes, the number of seated guests on table B is now the sum of the number of guests on table A and table B. Table B is now occupied and contains the order from table A. If a dining reservation was linked to table A, the reservation has been moved to table B.
- If you answer No, table B is now occupied and contains the order from table A. Table A is now seated.
