KDS Order Aging Report

This report gives an overview of how long it takes to prepare KOTs.

The report processes information on posted orders and only includes:

  • KOTs for preparation stations
  • items that have a production time (estimated ticket time) greater than 0
  • items that have actual ticket time greater than -20 and less than 240 minutes
  • KOTs that have been bumped on all of its stations.

On the Alerts and Detail FastTab, fill in the fields according to these guidelines:

  • Alert 1 - counts ticket times that go over the estimated ticket time by this limit (in minutes) but are under the Alert 2 limit. The default is 5.
  • Alert 2 - counts ticket times that go over the estimated ticket time by this limit (in minutes). The default is 7.
  • Print Detailed Report - a detailed report shows the information per KOT. Otherwise the report shows the totals per report period.
  • Restaurant - if there are multiple restaurants, here you can select which restaurant you wish to view the information for.
  • Today - sets Date From and Date To as the today's date.
  • Date From - the date from which you want to run the report.
  • Date To - the date to which you want to run the report. Note that when Date From and Date To are the same date, the report includes entries for all the report periods, also the ones that are past midnight.
  • Report Period - if you are running the report for one day (Date From and Date To are the same), you can limit the report to show results for just one KDS report period.

The KOTs are grouped into report periods by the date and time they are sent to the kitchen.

The report is sorted by KOT numbers.

Non-detailed report

  • KOTs: The total number of KOTs.
  • Items: The total number of items involved.
  • 0-5m: The total of KOTs that took up to 5 minutes to prepare.
  • 5-10m: The total of KOTs that took from over 5 up to 10 minutes to prepare.
  • ....
  • >30m: The total of KOTs that took more than 30 minutes to prepare.
  • Al-1: The number of ticket times that go over the estimated ticket time by 5 minutes but under 7 minutes.
  • Al-2: The number of ticket times that go over the estimated ticket time by 7 minutes.

Detailed Report

  • KOT No.: The number of the KOT.
  • KOTs: The total number of KOTs, that is, 1 KOT.
  • Items: The total number of items in the KOT.
  • 0-5m: 1 if the KOT took up to 5 minutes to prepare. 0 otherwise.
  • 5-10m: 1 if the KOT took from over 5 minutes up to 10 minutes to prepare. Otherwise, 0.
  • ....
  • >30m: 1 if the KOT took more than 30 minutes to prepare. Otherwise, 0.
  • Al-1: 1 if the ticket time of the KOT is over the estimated ticket time by 5 minutes but under 7 minutes.
  • Al-2: 1 if the ticket time of the KOT is over the estimated ticket time by 7 minutes.
