How to: Insert the KDS Default Data

By default, the lookup data for the available Field Data field in the Chit/Line column designer is not set in the Demo Company or a new Business Central Company. This also applies to the Style Lines in the Style profile configuration.

To set this data you have to insert it with the Insert Default Data operation.

To insert the default data

1. Click the icon, enter LS Import Export WS, and select the relevant link..
2. Click the Process - Insert Default Data action.
3. If you only want to insert the KDS Data, click the Clear All action. This turns off all the toggle switches. Then turn on the KDS Data toggle switch.
4. Turn on the Override Current Settings toggle switch to make sure that you have the latest data.
5. Click the Insert action to insert.

Note: If you already created a new style (item-, modifier- and so on), you must delete it and then create it again so the Style Lines FastTab is populated correctly.
