In the POS Data Entry Type Table you can set up automatic creation of data entries with unique entry
codes, triggered when running on the POS terminals.
This is for example, useful when issuing gift cards and vouchers. You can for example create a data entry type that will trigger creation of POS Data Entry containing a unique
entry code, each time a gift card is issued. The data entry code created can be printed on the receipt
or on another document.
Example - When the gift card is endorsed, the program is able to check the entry code on the gift card and see whether the gift card has already
been used.
You can also have the program to create and assign barcodes through use of POS data entry types.
In order to run the automatic creation of data entries you must assign No. Series to the data entry type.
