A check mark in this field indicates that an input is required of the cashier in response to the infocode.
If the user does not enter an input for an infocode that requires input (for example when the user presses Cancel in the infocode display window), the user must either cancel the line that triggers the infocode or select input a second time (the infocodes are displayed again).
