In this field you can select the type of the infocode. If the type requires manual input, the POS terminal validates the input keyed in according
to the type.
The options are:
Empty
Selection - The infocode consists of a list of pre-defined selection codes.
The user selects one ore more selection codes as input.
Date Input - The infocode input must be in valid date format.
Numeric Input - The infocode input must be numeric.
Item Input - The infocode input must be a barcode or an item number on file at the POS terminal.
Customer Input - The infocode input must be a customer on file at the POS terminal.
Staff Input - The infocode input must be a valid Staff ID.
Create Data Entry - The infocode is used to create a data entry, such as a gift card or voucher. The program assigns a number to the data entry automatically.
Apply To Entry - The infocode is used to validate a number against a data entry,
for example when a gift card or voucher is used as payment.
Text Input - The infocode input must be a text.
Group - The infocode groups other infocodes together; the selection codes of the infocode are
infocodes themselves.
