This field contains the sales type associated with the hospitality type. To see the sales types available, click the AssistButton in the field.
Note: The sales type selected controls the Global Dimension 2 for posting to the general ledger.
Order ID option Manual Input by Sales Type shows that the sales type requests a description. Each time a transaction is started with this sales type, an input window appears asking for a name or description and the order is marked with this input. This sales type cannot be selected for a Dining Table Service Service Type or a Delivery&Takeout in Restaurant or Call Center Service Type.
Sales types that are registered in the Hospitality Setup table as Delivery Sales Type, Takeout Sales Type and Pre-order Sales Type are a part of the Delivery & Takeout module.
