This field indicates whether the KDS confirmation screen appears when a transaction is saved (when journal screen is closed) and what information the screen shows. The options are:
- None – The window does not appear. This is the same as in the stationary POS when exiting the Sales POS and KDS confirmation is not set. The field On POS Exit/Posting controls which items are automatically sent to KDS:
- Send items with no menu type – items with menu types are never sent to KDS while items with no menu type are automatically sent to kitchen if needed (in one KOT).
- Send all items – all items are automatically sent to kitchen if needed (in one KOT).
- Full – The window appears if there are items that have not been sent to the kitchen yet. The user marks which menu types he or she wants to send (0 (no) menu type is included).
- If option All is selected, all items are sent to kitchen in one KOT.
- If a specific menu type is selected, the items with this menu types are sent to kitchen in one KOT (i.e. KOT per menu type).
- If menu type 0 (no menu type) is selected, the same takes place as when None is selected in this field.
- Menu Types – The window appears if there are items with menu types (not 0) that have not been sent to the kitchen yet. The user marks which menu types he or she wants to send (0 menu type is not included).
- If option All is selected, all items are sent to kitchen in one KOT.
- If a specific menu type is selected, the items with this menu types are sent to kitchen in one KOT (i.e. KOT per menu type).
- Then the same takes place as when None is selected in this field.
- Items – The window appears if there are any items that have not been sent to the kitchen yet. It includes only two option: Send items to kitchen, yes or no. If yes, the same takes place as when None is selected in this field.
