This field indicates whether guest number or seat number is specified at order taking. This information is important for the splitting of bills (the Guest Buttons field in particular). It indicates whether the lines are already marked with guest or seat number when the Split Bill window is opened. The options are:
- None - No guest marking takes place
- Guest No. Specified at Order Taking - The ordering is taken per guest number. Each order line has a guest number registered except for lines that belong multiple guests (for example bottles of water). This option is only valid if Guest Handling is Request No. of Guests (No. Mandatory).
- Seat No. Specified at Order Taking - The order is taken per seat number. Each order line has a seat number registered except for lines that belong multiple guests (for example bottles of water). This option is only valid if Guest Handling is Request No. of Guests (No. Mandatory.
- On Combining Loading Cards Guest No. Specified - This option applies to Service Type Loading Card Station only. It means that even though guest numbers are not registered at order taking, guest registration is used when two transactions are combined and if the bill is divided, the lines are marked with a guest number when the Split Bill window is opened.
