This field is a filter of sales types that share the same orders. If this field is not filled in, the Order List grid in the Hospitality Startup POS shows orders with the sales type of the hospitality type currently selected. Otherwise, the Startup POS shows orders for the hospitality types with sales types included in this filter.
For hospitality types with Service Type Dining Table Service, the program automatically builds this filter for those hospitality types that share the same dining area. An example of this sharing are two food stations each represented by their own hospitality type selling items to the same set of tables. Each of these hospitality types contribute to the orders, where the order lines are marked with the hospitality type currently selected.
For hospitality types with Service Type other than Dining Table Service, you can build a filter in this field if you want to see orders for more than one hospitality type in the order list of the Startup POS. As an example is the call center that works with three hospitality types, Delivery, Takeout and Pre-order. When no sharing filter exists, the user needs to click on each type to view the orders made for that type. By having a sharing filter including these three types, the three different order types are visible when any of the hospitality types are selected.
You only need to build the filter for one of the hospitality types. The program creates the same filtering for the hospitality types included in the filter.
