Manage Issuer Rights and Limitations
To manage issuer rigthts and limitations, go to the search bar and type Issuer Rights. A new limitation can be made and others can be edited.
To create a new limitation, selecet New. The type of the limitaions has to be selected, it can be for a goup with special Issuer Code that defines the working permit or for a certain issuer.
Limitation types are:
- All – Can write prescriptions for all drugs
- Control Group – Can only write prescriptions for certain groups of drugs, for example: genereal drugs
- Special Drug Group - Can only write prescriptions for certain special group. Note: The special group has to exist befor this is selected.
- ATC Group – Can only write prescriptions for certain ATC group (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical classification), for example: sodium fluoride
- Division – Can only write prescriptions for certain divisons, for example: vitamins
- Category - Can only write prescriptions for certain category, for example: antacids
- Product Group - Can only write prescriptions for certain product group, for example: magnesium compounds
- Product - Can only write prescriptions for certain product, for example: risperdal
- Article - Can only write prescriptions for certain article, for example: risperdal, tablets 0,5 mg 20 pcs
- Classifacation Group - Can only write prescriptions for certain classification group
Create a new limitiation for an issuer. Here the Issuer Code is the issuers number, the Limitation Type is Control Group and the Code is A wich stands for General Drugs. Now the limititaion has been created.
Another way to use this is to exclude something from an issuer or a group. It is done in the same way as before. The issuer or the group is defined, aswell as the Limitation Type. For example if we want to exclude a drug from an issuer, then we would select the Product Group in the Limitation Group and select the code we want. Finally, a checkmark is put in the Exclude Rights field. This means that this doctor (issue nr. 9998), cannot prescribe the product Risperdal.
