How to: Replace Items in Multiple Dispense Orders

In some cases, you may need to replace the same pharmacy items in multiple different dispense orders. To do this:

  1. Navigate to the Dispenser Role Center.
  2. Click Item Replacement.
  3. Click the Replace Item action.
  4. Fill in the Item to Replace and the Replacement Item.
  5. Enter the Factor value to let the system calculate the replacement item’s quantity.
  6. Choose an option in the Replacement field. If it remains set to Replace Only Where Same Item Is Not Required, the system only creates replacement lines based on dispensing lines where Exact Drug Only = No.
  7. Select an option in the Private Stock Handling field to specify whether the system should consider private stock.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Review the suggested lines. You can select or deselect lines by clicking them and using the Select/De-select action.
  10. Click OK to replace the items in all selected lines.

Note: The process can be reversed using the Undo Replacement action.
