Medicine Verification Decommission is used to let authorities know the status of a pack if needed and for the pharmacist to check if a pack is valid. If the pack is valid, then an answer is received from the drug identification company. In the functionality, it is also possible to re-activate a pack.
Go to Departments - LS Retail - Pharmacy - Pharmacy Store Management
In the Home action menu there are several buttons that can be used, it depends on the setup on Medicine Verification in Office Operations - Pharmacy Setup. If all buttons are set up, the possibilities are the following.
Decommission as Destroyed
Here you mark a pack as destroyed.
Decommission as Sample
Here you mark a pack as a sample.
Decommission as Supplied
Here you mark a pack as delivered.
Verify
Here you can check if a pack is valid or not.
Reactivate
Here you can reactivate a pack that has already been decommissioned in any way.
With all actions, the drug identification company will be informed immediately.
How to use MV Decommission
- When inside of the page MV Decommission, scan a pack into the Barcode entry field
When a pack has been scanned, the following information are displayed in the fields in the Decommission Entries FastTab:
- Product Code -
- Serial No.
- Batch ID
- Expiry
- Manual Entry
- State
- Message Text
- Warning
- Error Occured
- Alert
