In LS Central, every POS sales slip printed for a South African company automatically includes a centred header line that identifies the document type, as required by South African tax legislation.
The header is printed above the sales information on the receipt:
- For a regular sale, the header reads ** TAX INVOICE **.
- For a return sale, the header reads ** CREDIT NOTE **.
The header is printed on every POS receipt and requires no setup. It is independent of the Amount Limit to Print Customer info. threshold in Retail Setup, which controls only whether the customer's address and VAT Registration No. are added — see POS Transaction Limit Configuration.
