Tax Return Service Setup

When a a return is initiated for a transaction that includes a Planet Tax Free voucher, the system validates the store's Tax Return Service setup before proceeding.

The store must have all Tax Return Service fields configured on the Store Card. If any required values are missing, the return process cannot be completed. This ensures that LS Central can authenticate with the Planet Tax Free service using the correct credentials.

Set up the Tax Return Service on the Store Card

1. Click the icon, enter Store List and select the relevant store.
2. Go to the Tax Return Service FastTab.

   

3. In the Tax Return Service field, select Planet Tax.
4. Enter the Client ID provided by Planet Tax Free.
5. Enter the Client Secret associated with the Client ID.
6. Enter the Terminal Code assigned to the store.
7. Enter the Merchandise Group code.

After the tax-free voucher is returned, the voucher is automatically voided.
