In the Italian version of Business Central, LS Central adds an Activity Code field to Retail Setup. During statement posting, the Activity Code is transferred to the resulting general ledger entries, which supports activity-level tracking and reporting for retail businesses in Italy.

Italian fiscalization regulations also apply to retail transactions. They require the use of certified RT fiscal devices (RT printers or RT servers) to safeguard the integrity, originality, and completeness of transaction data, and to establish communication between the retailer and the Italian Tax Authority.
