The Magento LS Central Standalone integration provides a direct connection between Magento and LS Central without using LS Commerce Services or the eCommerce APIs.
Instead, this integration communicates with LS Central through its native API stack, including:

This architecture enables real-time communication for items, prices, inventory, and order handling while keeping Magento directly connected to LS Central’s application layer.
The Standalone version offers an alternative to the Commerce Services based Magento integration and is suitable for scenarios where:
- The LS Commerce Server is not deployed.
- Direct access to LS Central APIs is preferred.
- Custom integration logic is required.
- Retailers want full control over the request/response workflows between Magento and LS Central.
This approach provides flexibility while still leveraging LS Central as the central system for product, pricing, and order management.
Important:
This version of the Magento integration connects directly to LS Central web services and does not use LS Commerce Services.
