There may be uncounted money in the safe and not in a bag. In the Store Safe Journal you will find several options that you can use in such a case.
When you have found the journal line(s) you want to handle, the following options are available in the Entry Type field:
- Transfer To - Transferring money to the selected Safe Type.
- Transfer From - Transferring money from the selected Safe Type.
- Positive Adjmt. - Adding money to the safe.
- Negative Adjmt. - Taking money from the safe.
In this example you want to use the negative adjustment:
- Select Negative Adjmt.
- Select the safe where the money is and Safe Type Bank, if you want to move money from the safe to the bank.
- Click Post or Post and Print.
- Confirm the posting of the journal line(s).
- After the line has been posted successfully, a confirmation message is displayed.
