Safe Management Setup
The Safe Management Setup page is a single-record configuration card that controls which reports are used when you print safe transfer documents and post safe journal entries. Administrators typically open this page once during initial configuration and again whenever they need to assign a custom replacement report.
Opening the Safe Management Setup page
- Click the
icon, enter Safe Management Setup, and select the relevant link. - The Safe Management Setup card opens. If no setup record exists yet, the system creates one automatically with the default report IDs.
Fields

| Safe Transfer Report ID | The ID of the report used when printing safe transfer documents. The default value is 99001525 (Posted Safe Transfer). You can enter any valid report ID to substitute a custom report. |
| Safe Transfer Report Name | Read-only. Displays the name of the report specified in Safe Transfer Report ID. The value is looked up automatically from the system object table and cannot be edited directly. |
| Def. Jnl Posting Report ID | The ID of the report used when printing the journal posting confirmation after posting safe journal entries. The default value is 99001527 (Safe Register). You can enter any valid report ID to substitute a custom report. |
| Def. Jnl Pst.Report Name | Read-only. Displays the name of the report specified in Def. Jnl Posting Report ID. The value is looked up automatically from the system object table and cannot be edited directly. |
Changing the default report
If you need to use a custom or localised report instead of the system default, follow these steps:
- Open Safe Management Setup as described above.
- In the Safe Transfer Report ID field or the Def. Jnl Posting Report ID field, enter the ID of the replacement report, or use the lookup button to browse available reports.
- The adjacent name field updates automatically to show the name that matches the ID you entered. Verify that the name shown is the expected report.
- Close the page. The new report ID is saved immediately.
Note: Entering an ID that does not correspond to an existing report will leave the name field blank. Always confirm the name field is populated after making a change.
