How to: Configure when Pop-up Panel Closes or Shows Next in Group

For infocode, modifiers and cross-selling infocodes

The pop-up panel for infocodes, modifiers and cross-selling includes an OK button that signals the closing of the panel. If Maximum Selection is set, you can also configure the panel to behave as if OK was pressed automatically when the last required option is selected.

When a selection reaches Maximum Selection:

The On Max. Selection Signal OK Pressed field (on the infocode, modifier and cross-selling card) specifies determines whether OK is triggered automatically.
If this setting is enabled:
- If the code is not part of a group, the pop-up panel closes.
- If the code is part of a group, the group's OK Pressed Action setting determines what happens next:
  - Show the next member in the group, or
  - Close the panel if all members have reached their maximum.

For group infocodes, modifiers and cross-selling infocodes

The pop-up panel for groups includes an OK button to close the panel.

The group's OK Pressed Action fieldcontrols what happens when a member reaches Maximum Selection.

Available options are:

Jump to Next Undisplayed Code.
Jump to Next Required Code.
Close Panel.

The group's Close Pop-up on Max. Selection field determines whether the panel closes when group-level maximum conditions are met. This applies when:

The groups maximum selection is greater than zero and has been reached, or
All group members have reached their own maximum selection and have On Max. Selection Signal OK Pressed enabled.

If this field is not enabled, the panel closes only when OK is pressed.

For deal modifiers

The pop-up panel for deal modifiers (single modifier and group modifiers) have similar behavior. The pop-up panel includes an OK button to close it.

Deal Line Settings (Deal modifier)

On Max. Sel. Signal OK Pressed determines whether reaching Maximum Selection automatically triggers OK (as if the user pressed OK).

If this setting is enabled and a selection reaches Maximum Selection:

If it is the only modifier in the deal, the panel closes.
If there are multiple modifiers in the deal, the deal’s OK Pressed Action determines what happens:
- Show the next deal modifier, or
- Close the panel if all deal modifiers have reached their maximum.

Deal Settings

The deal-level OK Pressed Action field defines behavior when a deal modifier (one of multiple) reaches Maximum Selection.
