Updating Wastage % for Ingredients

The Update Recipe Wastage Info report synchronizes recipe ingredient wastage percentages with the wastage percentage defined on items themselves.

  • Use either Item No. Filter or Item Category Filter to limit which items are processed.

  • The report only updates ingredient (BOM component) lines for items that are used in recipes and that have a nonzero wastage percentage.

  • During processing, a progress window shows the update status.

You can access the report in the following ways:

  •  Click the icon,search for Update Recipe Wastage Info.

  • In the Recipe List or Recipe Card, click Adjust Cost - Update Recipes, Update Recipe Wastage Info on the Action tab under Home.
