Guest Management

Guest management in LS Central for hotels provides a centralized way to manage hotel guests across individual and group reservations. Every guest on a reservation — including additional adults and children — is represented as a member contact in the LS Central member management system. This enables the hotel to recognize returning guests, store identification documents, and maintain a complete guest history.

The guest list is maintained as part of the reservation and is automatically populated based on the number of adults and children specified on the reservation. Users can modify the guest list at any time, including before confirmation (in draft/builder mode).

Key concepts:

  • Every guest on a reservation is linked to a Member Contact record.
  • The primary guest is determined by the Guest Name field on the reservation.
  • Additional guests (adults or children) that are not assigned a specific member contact use the Default Member configured in Hotel Setup.
  • Children default to the primary guest's member contact, unless a specific contact is assigned.
  • Guest Types categorize guests as Adult, Child, or Infant, which can affect rate pricing.

Guest management requires the following setup in the Members FastTab of Hotel Setup: Default Member Club, Default Scheme Code, and Default Member.
