This field indicates whether this item should be compressed or not when the item is scanned or entered by typing or using the PLU_K command. The compression process takes place if the Compress when Scanned field in the active POS Functionality profile contains a check mark. Placing a check mark in this field prevents this item from being compressed when entered.
