This field indicates if and when the program requests that the user enters a description (such as a name) for a sale with this sales type.
The options are:
- No
- At Start of Transaction
- On Suspend
- On Posting
- On Suspend and Posting
The Requested Description field in the POS Transaction table contains the requested description. If the Comment field in the POS Transaction table contains nothing, the program copies the requested description into the Comment field.
Note: Even if you are marking transaction with a queue counter, you can still let the sales type request a description to have the order also marked with name of the customer. The Requested Description field in the POS Transaction table is available as a POS tag and is copied into the Customer Name field in the KOT header, and therefore printed along with the queue counter on a kitchen order ticket and can be displayed in the KDS display stations.
