In this field you set how barcodes should be created when the registration lines are posted to items.
The options are:
None - No barcodes will be created.
Automatic - The barcode will be created automatically based on the item default settings.
Manual - No automatic barcode creation, but if the barcode field has a value, the barcode will be created.
