Variant Framework Setup

In the Variant Framework Setup table you can setup up 'framework codes', that reference to the combinations of variant dimensions. For example Color and Size would be a combination of 2 variant dimensions, with one framework code (Colour and Size) referring to it. Each item can have a framework code which controls the variant dimensions created for the item, and therefore the actual variant.

The framework codes can be automatically assigned to an item, based on the category, product group or the vendor of the item. Stock keeping units can also be created per variant or per variant/location if needed. The barcode mask can be assigned (for internal creation of barcodes). User can set a price general to the item or set a price specific for each variant.
